OAA Certificate of Practice holders: Architectural practices who are OAA Certificate of Practice holders. There is no cost for any Employment Opportunity by an OAA Certificate of Practice holder.*

Other non-holders: i.e. out-of-province architectural practices, corporations, government and other entities who are not OAA Certificate of Practice holders.

  *The ad must be placed by an OAA Certificate of Practice holder. Other companies and associations (non-holders) with an OAA member as an employee do not qualify for a free listing.
  
  
• Job Seekers: Individuals seeking positions can post their resume free of charge on the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada's (RAIC) Web site

• Project Opportunities: advertises Requests for Proposals and Expressions of Interest for architectural projects. (Listings are only available for viewing by OAA members.) There is no cost for OAA Certificate of Practice holders or non-holders.

• Strategic Alliances: advertises OAA members, OAA Certificate of Practice holders, out-of-province architectural practices and out-of-province engineering firms who are looking to find and form strategic alliances - both short and long-term collaboration, for single projects of a particular type, and for building a practice. (Listings are only available for viewing by OAA members.) There is no cost for OAA Certificate of Practice holders or non-holders.

• Space Available/Wanted: advertises space rental, sale or sublet of architectural office by OAA Certificate of Practice holders, architects, intern architects, student associates and retired members.

• Trading Post: advertises available equipment and furniture by OAA Certificate of Practice holders, architects, intern architects, student associates and retired members. The OAA is not responsible for the accuracy of description or condition of equipment.

• Ads are to be forwarded to oaaclassifieds@oaa.on.ca.
• Ads are updated bi-weekly on Mondays. Information and payment (if required) must be received by 4:30 pm every other Wednesday for inclusion in the listings. Check the OAA Classifieds Posting Schedule for deadlines.
• Ads are posted for a period of one month from date of posting.
• Ads may be of any reasonable length and receipt by e-mail is required.
• Use of bold, underline, italics and/or bullets/numbering is permissible.
• Please do not include ALL CAPS, logos/graphics/tables in the ad.
• All ads are subject to an approval process through the OAA Practice Advisor, where the OAA reserves the right to edit or reject ads for compliance with privacy laws and content; and that the standards noted in any terms and conditions are met. All ads must be in compliance with the Architects Act and the regulation thereunder, the Employment Standards Act, 2000 and the Human Rights Act.
  
• Ads are available for view under the Services and Resources/Classifieds/Employment Opportunities section of the OAA Web site.

• The ad must identify the name of the practice or employer, and include the position title, a description of the position and contact information.
• View the current Employment Opportunities for suggested terminology, such as: Architect(s), Cad Operator(s), Contract Administrator(s), Draftsperson(s), Graduate(s) of a school of architecture, Intern Architect(s), Project Architect(s), Technologist(s)/technician(s) in the architectural discipline.

• Ads can be submitted for architectural projects other than single-family residences by members of the public.

• Ads can be submitted by architectural practices, architects, out-of-province architectural practices, Certificate of Authorization holders or out-of-province engineering practices.

• Ads can be submitted by architectural practices, architects, intern architects, student associates and retired members.
• The ad should identify and describe the spaces for rent, sale or sublet in detail, together with pricing information as applicable, and provide contact information.

• Ads can be submitted by architectural practices, architects, intern architects, student associates and retired members.
• The ad should identify and describe the items offered for sale or sought in detail, together with pricing information as applicable, and provide contact information.
