Document 600, 2008
In May 2005, OAA Council approved the new OAA Document 600 contract between architect and client, to replace Document Six, 2002. In November 2007, OAA Council made a number of modifications to the 2005 version. In September 2008, additional changes were made and OAA Document 600, 2008 is posted below:

The salient features of this new contract include:
- More user friendly than Document Six, 2002
- Physically and visually more compact
- Architect’s liability for consultant’s services mitigated
- Better defined services
- Scope of services rationalized and coordinated with fees
- Various methods of fee calculation set out in commentary with ease of transfer into the agreement
