Drew Adams


B.E.S., M.Arch., OAA, MRAIC


Drew's interests lie at the intersection of built form and the environment which is reflected in diverse experience and work that cuts across architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning/design.
In 2011 Drew graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto with a master of architecture  and holds a professional degree in urban planning and minor in geography from the University of Waterloo (2007). Professionally, Drew has worked with firms such as Janet Rosenberg + Studio, Brook McIlroy Urban Design and Baird Sampson Neuert Architects. He has worked with LGA Architectural Partners (formerly Levitt Goodman) since 2013. Drew has specific interest in high performance and multi-unit housing design and experience ranging from extensive adaptive reuse for youth transitional housing to carbon neutral multi-unit housing in Canada’s North among other works.
Drew has been the recipient of numerous awards such as the 2012 RAIC National Urban Design Medal. His work has received considerable distinction in design competitions, publications and exhibitions including the exhibition park, Scent Garden, designed in collaboration and built for the 2011 World Horticultural Expo in Xi’an, China.
Drew has taught and been a frequent guest critic at both the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design and University of Waterloo, School of Planning.
