Duties
You will lead the Federal Built Heritage Section, Parks Canada’s unit responsible for providing built heritage conservation advice, in the Agency that is the federal lead on built heritage conservation matters.
As part of this leadership role, you will be supervising a team of passionate and experienced built heritage conservation professionals located across Canada, including conservation architects and built heritage advisors.
You will face numerous exciting challenges, such as providing expert advice for a variety of heritage programs and developing tools and training that will ensure that built heritage advice provided at the Agency level and across the country is consistent and aligns with a best practice approach in conservation.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with other heritage, asset management, project delivery and research professionals to collaboratively deliver results for the conservation of historic places in Canada.

Location/City: Gatineau, QC (Other Parks Canada offices may be considered by management at the time of appointment.)
Salary Range $129,517 to $149,895.
