Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Sr. Technologist and BIM specialist to work closely with our Sr. Architects on various projects from inception through to completion. Project types include high-rises, adaptive-reuse and mixed-use developments. This position is for you if you are looking for an opportunity to lead and grow your skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Assemble construction drawing sets from schematic design through to construction administration in REVIT, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall details, etc.

Work with current design techniques, building systems, and keep current with design trends, code changes, and developments to sustain and improve technical and design skills.

Prepare client presentation materials, design development documentation, construction documentation, and contract administration working alongside architects.

Ensure all work meets Linebox standards for quality.
Required Skills:

Architectural Technology Diploma or related Architecture education from a recognized institution - strong Revit skills

7+ years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist or Designer Currently living in Canada and 5+ years of experience working with building codes in Canada

A Revit portfolio including multi-family, high-rise, mixed use demonstrating design excellence.

Knowledge of building technology and assembly, construction methodology, materials application and interpretation of manufacturers’ requirements

Efficient working drawings productions and experience dealing with building permits.

Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office is an asset.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Team player able to work collaboratively.
