Architect, Siamak Hariri receives an Honorary Doctorate of Architecture degree from Ryerson University

As part of this year’s spring convocation ceremonies, Ryerson University recognized the distinguished career of Siamak Hariri with an Honorary Doctorate of Architecture degree, at the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science ceremony on June 8, 2016, 9:30 am.

Siamak Hariri is a founding partner of Hariri Pontarini Architects, based in Toronto. Hariri’s designs have won more than 50 awards, including the Governor General’s Medal in Architecture for his design of the Schulich School of Business at York University. In addition, Hariri Pontarini Architects received the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’s Architectural Firm Award in 2013. One of Hariri’s earliest projects, the Canadian headquarters of McKinsey & Company, is the youngest building to receive a City of Toronto heritage landmark designation.
