The fifteenth annual Doors Open Toronto event was held on May 24 and 25, 2014
, an event where buildings in Toronto that are usually closed to the public are open, and free to enter for two days only. Over 500 visitors made their way to 111 Moatfield Drive as part of the weekend’s celebration of architecture.
Guests enjoyed viewing the exhibition of winners from the 2014 OAA Award winners and new
for this year, there was also an exhibit of the OAAAS Student Award winners.
There were aspiring young architects, design lovers, and local residents whom were always curious about the interior of the OAA headquarters. Members of the public also made the most of the opportunity to talk to architects about becoming an architect.
The weekend could not have happened without the Doors Open volunteers including OAA members who were an integral part of the success of the weekend; answering questions and showcasing the building.
