In keeping housing affordability at the forefront, there is a growing need to rethink traditional housing typologies and encourage diverse housing options. Innovative, and diverse housing options are being sought as a solution for housing affordability concerns, homelessness, and increasing population.
“Creating inclusive, complete communities with a broad mix and range of housing types is an important step to building Ontario’s health and prosperity.”
Our new blOAAg series turns its attention to the topic of Housing Diversity
. We are interested in highlighting diverse housing that challenges traditional housing typologies.
Have you or your practice been involved in the design of a house/ housing unit that challenges traditional housing typology? Please share your story with us. E-mail Vineetha Sivathasan
with your contribution. The Deadline to submit is January 31.
