Dinshaw was born in Mumbai, India in 1935. He graduated as an Architect from J.J. School of Arts in Mumbai in 1959 and then emigrated to Canada in 1967. He worked with Gore & Storrie and CH2M Hill for almost 40 years where he designed award-winning municipal structures including water treatment plants, and Canada’s first IKEA store. He enjoyed many hobbies including a love for music, gardening and building projects.
Dinshaw was an active member of the Zoroastrian Society of Ontario, OZCF, St. Andrew’s Masonic Lodge, The Shrine Club of Oakville, Construction Specifications Canada, Cardiac Rehab Association and many others.
Dinshaw was well known in the community for lending a helping hand with his knowledge of design and building expertise.
Dinshaw will be missed by his wife of 52 years, Armaity, son Persius and wife Mary Jane, and loving granddaughters Natalie and Nicole.
