The OAA's annual Celebration of Excellence Awards presentation was held on Friday night at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The event was attended by the province’s top architects, building industry guests, clients of the winning projects and those with a passion for architecture. CBC journalist Wendy Mesley was the Master of Ceremonies, supported by OAA President Sheena Sharp, who together engaged the audience and contributed to an enjoyable evening.
This year’s ceremony celebrated an incredibly diverse selection of buildings, constructed nation-wide and internationally. The winning projects provided inspiring examples of Ontario architects exporting their vision and talent. Sustainability was a key theme this year and acted as an integral part of the judging criteria.
