Registration Process

REAL TIME, ONLINE REGISTRATION AND ONLINE PAYMENT IS THE QUICKEST WAY TO ENSURE YOUR CONFERENCE SELECTIONS.

The online registration process is designed to make registration fast and simple.

  • OAA members: input your last name and either your licence number or e-mail address of record. Then click on "Register For the Conference".
  • OAA members that do not have a licence number: input your last name and e-mail address (address on record with the OAA). Then click on "REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE".
  • The system will search the OAA database for your information.
  • The system will automatically populate all the required address and contact information fields for verification and speed you along your way to choose your package and events.
  • If the system does not find your information, you will be able to input your contact information and continue with registration.
  • OAA Members will be prompted to “Select Delegate Package”, “Select Intern/Associate Package (Verification of Status will be required) or “Select Individual Tickets (without Conference Package)”.
  • OAA Members have the option to purchase additional tickets, for your guest, to all social events and/or tours. To receive your ticket to any of the social events included in the Conference Packages, you must indicate your “Confirmation of Attendance”. Note: For Continuing Education sessions, architect guests will be required to register separately.
  • Non-members can sign in as "Other", input their contact information and continue with registration
  • Payment options (online or offline)
  1. Register online and pay online using our new Interac payment option.
  2. Register online and pay offline by faxing form to OAA 2011 Conference Registration Office at 905-405-9870. Members can then choose online banking* to pay your conference fee. Just use the same ID# used to pay your licence fee for 2011.

    Process: 
    Log on to your bank. 
    For each individual registration, set up the Ontario Association of Architects as a "payee", using the unique account/ID number found on your conference payment or confirmation pages that you wish to pay. Submit your payment(s). 
    The bank will submit your payment(s) to the OAA within 72 hours.

  4. Register online or offline and pay offline by mailing the form with your cheque* payable to Ontario Association of Architects to the address below.

Seats are reserved pending payment *REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELLED IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS.

If you require cancellation, send a quick e-mail to conferenceregistration@oaa.on.ca noting “Cancel My Registration” in the subject and providing your full name in the body of the e-mail.

OAA Database

The contact information provided during the registration process is the current information contained in the OAA database. If, during the registration process, you notice that your address or e-mail address is incorrect, please:

  1. Continue and complete your registration.
  2. After you have completed your registration, contact 2011 Conference Registration Office (OAA) and provide your current e-mail address to ensure that you receive your confirmation: Tel: 905-405-8415, Fax: 905-405-9870, E-mail: info@oaaconferenceregistration.com and
  3. E-mail the Office of the Registrar at officeoftheregistrar@oaa.on.ca to provide your updated contact information. 

Registrants without computer access

Beginning Tuesday, March 29 at 11:00 am, the registration PDF form will be available online or by calling the OAA at: 416-449-6898 to receive the form by fax. Fax completed registration forms to the Conference Registration Office (OAA) at 905-405-9870.

Intern/Student Associate Package - $255

  • (only available to OAA Intern Architects and Students of schools with architecture programs)

  • 6 hours of learning (any combination of CORE (C) and/or Self-Directed (SD) to equal 6 hours)
  • Opening Keynote Speaker Luncheon featuring Richard Heinberg
  • Opening Reception
