May 18, 2011--More than 350 Intern architects are attending the OAA Admission Course May 18 - 21. Beginning last year, the Admission Course is now held concurrently with the OAA Conference allowing more interaction between architects and the up and coming members of the profession.

The OAA Admission Course  is one of the requirements for licensure in Ontario. 

The Course covers topics related to regulatory, legal and practice issues specific to Ontario that are not covered by the Examination for Architects in Canada (ExAC) or the Architect Registration Examination (ARE). 

The Course is designed to supplement the participant's formal professional education and practical experience gained during the period of internship. 

This is the largest turnout ever and is the final step prior to getting licensed.
