MJMA is seeking a ‘BIM Specialist’ to join our growing 60-person interdisciplinary Toronto studio, focused on design excellence in public projects. Recipients of the 2016 RAIC Firm Award, our integrated design studio incorporates Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, and Environmental Graphic Design, all aimed at delivering full service, holistic design solutions. This role requires an organized and proactive doer, who has the confidence to bring a fresh perspective to our team.
- Completion of relevant diploma or degree program from an accredited college or university.
- Strong technical skills in Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks Manage and Bluebeam are a must, additional skills such as Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, and programming knowledge is advantageous.
- Revit experience and knowledge must be at a mid to high level.
- Ability to continue to learn and transition between multiple applications.
You must demonstrate a passion for design excellence and innovation, be a strong communicator, detail oriented, and help teach staff. You must be highly motivated, organized, assertive, and most importantly, willing to engage in the open and collaborative environment of the office. We are interested in individuals who are constantly looking to improve quality, play a role in innovation, and strive to learn and research new technologies.
This role is to support and work closely with the Director of BIM and Digital Practice. We are looking for someone who is passionate about design technology, problem solving, and enjoys teaching others. As a collaborative office, we are looking for someone who has fresh ideas on the use of new tools and workflows. We are interested in individuals who are excited for the opportunity to teach staff, assist project teams with technology questions, and collaborate and assist in the continued application of design technologies within the office. You will also be responsible for developing BIM office resources such as libraries.
