Lakeside now is based in Toronto, with exceptional projects in Toronto and Muskoka. Lakeside Architecture has a sister company offering construction management services.
Do you have the vision, ambition, experience and drive to commit to becoming part of a top design and production team developing unique projects on a true professional and creative level?
Lakeside would like to hire an ambitious and detail oriented Residential Architect or CET committed to growing with the firm. Candidates with at least 10 years experience would be preferable. However, exceptional candidates with fewer years of experience but the right skills and attitude could still be considered. Candidates should be able to show not only their strong technical skills but also the ability to problem solve, work as part of a team and independently, in order to assist in the creation and development of projects from the design stage to the final construction details.
Candidates must be proficient with the Ontario Building Code, AutoCAD, REVIT and 3d modelling applications. Candidates should have an excellent understanding of building systems, materials and detailing, have good organizational and communication skills, be self-starters and self-motivated. Construction management experience would be a valuable asset.

- Knowledge of building detailing and systems
- Experience in construction and building
- Excellent drawing and drafting skills
- Detailed knowledge of Ontario Building Code
- Excellent organizational, communication and graphic skills
- Competency in Revit, BIM and 3D modelling is an asset
- B. Arch in Architecture or graduate from an accredited Technologist program
- Understanding of the high end residential and cottage market,
- And excellent personal character
Duties and responsibilities include production of construction documents, contract administration, development of details and specifications and site meetings.
