For Providers

A Continuing Education CORE Program Provider is an individual, company, organization, group or association that offers learning activities or programs to Ontario Association of Architects members.

Architects are highly trained professionals bound by regulations made under the Architects Act. Following licensure in Ontario all architects must participate in the OAA Continuing Education Program. Continuing education is a mandatory requirement for all Architects as well as Licensed Technologists OAA in the province of Ontario.

Recognition of a learning activity as CORE learning offers the following benefits to its provider:

  • Authorization to publicize the learning activity as “CORE" learning under the OAA Continuing Education Program”;
  • Permission to use the OAA ConEd logo to promote affiliation;
  • Listing of the learning activity on the OAA Web site CORE Opportunities page;
  • Listing in the OAA newsletter (e-bulletin) that includes a link to the program provider Web site;
  • Increased opportunities for cross-promotion and marketing such as listing in the Calendar of CORE Continuing Education Activities on the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Web site.
