Most practices establish standard office forms to use for all projects and office management based on templates from the RAIC, OAA and CCDC. Canadian Handbook of Practice for Architects (CHOP) The Canadian Handbook of Practice for Architects (CHOP) provides standard forms for management of: Projects ( Volume 2 - section 2.4 ) & Practice ( Volume 2 - section 2.2 ).
CCDC 24 The Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) publishes CCDC 24 a guide to model forms and support documents which includes commentary plus Word files for templates. CCDC 24 and other CCDC contracts, documents and guides can be obtained from the CCDC website. To download CCDC documents you will need to purchase a Registration Number from the OAA Document Centre. OAA items are available for download at no cost.
OAA forms are provided as a service to OAA members and practices, and may be used only by OAA members and practices. Any others wishing to use OAA forms must obtain prior written permission from the OAA.
