  • Summary

    Practice Tip PT.23 is a series of Practice Tips related to contracts, guides and other publications of the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC).  The CCDC is the national joint committee responsible for the development, production and review of standard Canadian construction contracts, forms and guides.  Formed in 1974, the CCDC includes two owner representatives from each of the public and private sectors, as well as appointed volunteer members of the following four national organizations:

    Royal Architectural Institute of Canada                     RAIC

    Construction Specifications Canada                         CCS

    Canadian Construction Association                          CCA

    Association of Canadian Engineering Companies     ACEC

    The PT.23 series offers advice on various CCDC contracts and forms as well as the primary construction contract used across Canada, CCDC 2 - Stipulated Price Contract.
