Ontario architects are highly trained professionals bound by regulations made under the Architects Act. To be licensed as an architect, an individual must gain a minimum of three years practical experience, pass extensive examinations, and attend the OAA Admission Course. Following licensure all architects must participate in the OAA Continuing Education Program.
