This provides the mandatory indemnification required by the Architects Act and its regulations.
The Regulation to the Architects Act amending the minimum mandatory limits of liability for professional liability insurance came into effect on January 1, 2016.
The mandatory limits of liability required to be carried through Pro-Demnity Insurance Company are as follows:
|Total gross fees between $0 to $499,999||Total gross fees between $500,000 to $999,999||Total gross fees from $1,000,000|
(Note: The Project Limit represents the maximum amount the Insurer will pay as damages for a project arising from all claims reported during the Period of Insurance subject to the Claim Limit and Aggregate Limit.)
Applicable policies –
Claim Limit $250,000 – Policy No. 1
Claim Limit $500,000 and above - Policy No. 4 (subject to Insurer`s approval)
