- DISCOVER AN ARCHITECT
Pro-Demnity Insurance Company (successor of the Indemnity Plan 1987-2002), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ontario Association of Architects, provides mandatory professional liability insurance coverage to Ontario architectural practices in accordance with the Architects Act and its regulations.

Architects Insuring Architects…
The Ontario Architects Professional
Liability Insurance Program
Reinsurance arranged through Lloyd’s of London in 1999 enabled Pro-Demnity to increase the limits of liability available to Ontario practices, up to $10,000,000 each claim above the retention of $250,000, for both annual practice and single project insurances. The increased limits program provides broader coverage, with the prime benefit of the reporting and handling of claims being by one source only, making for a seamless coverage, avoiding the variations in coverage that existed with the primary and excess insurance relationships.
