Illuminating Innovation: Architectural Insights into the Falls Illumination Project

4 ConEd Learning Hours

1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Dive into the architectural and engineering marvels behind the Niagara Falls Illumination Project in this exclusive half-day experiential learning session. Participants will see how the design team transformed the way Niagara Falls is seen at night. Through this renovation project completed in 2016, the LED design has helped reduce the Falls’ energy output by as much as 80 per cent. See this maintenance-free design that was created to last for 25 years—a significant leap from the previous lamps’ lifespan of 1,900 hours. This session is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and solutions involved in illuminating one of the world's most iconic natural wonders.
