We are looking for a Communications Coordinator who will work closely with senior staff to craft engaging written materials that drive the firm’s key messages and design narratives across print and digital platforms; with the aim of amplifying its public image. This is a full-time position that is based in our Toronto office. We strongly encourage you to provide two professional writing samples with your application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with architects to identify interesting design narratives
- Develop and edit copy to be used for media pitching, website, social media and award submissions
- Track project milestones to support communications planning and engage in project research
- Maintain website with news/media coverage and events
- Collaborate with digital content creator and communications team on social media strategy and engagement
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience
- Strong writing skills
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Experience managing social media channels
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of Word Press is a plus
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Team player who is eager to collaborate
- Solutions-oriented and resourceful
- Knowledge of architecture and design is a plus
Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00
