The following individuals have served the architecture profession as Presidents of the governing Council of the OAA. Representing the voice of Council, they have been instrumental in regulating the profession and helping shape the practice of architecture in Ontario, ensuring the highest standards of ethics, competence, and professionalism.
As OAA President, they were responsible for overseeing the Association's operations, setting policies and regulations for architecture practice, and advocating in the public interests.
Their duties, as outlined in the
Bylaws, include presiding over meetings, serving as the official representative and spokesperson, setting policies and regulations, and receiving policy direction from the Council. By fulfilling these duties, they ensure the OAA functions effectively and efficiently to serve the public and its members.
