Designers is an award-winning practice located in downtown Ottawa, Ontario. Our work covers a broad range of sectors

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

ARCHITECT / INTERN ARCHITECT

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited architectural degree program.

• Office experience on commercial and institutional building projects.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.

• Superior graphic presentation skills.

• Working towards OAA registration.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Assist in the design and execution of projects in all phases (proposal, programming, design, document preparation,bidding, construction administration, closeout).

• Assist in the development of presentation graphics including 3D models and renderings.

• Participate in site and environmental analysis.

• Assist in analysis of applicable regulations including zoning and building codes.

• Develop designs and details under the direction of a senior leader.

• Participate in preparation of cost estimates.

• Assist in the preparation of contract documents (drawings and specifications) for permit, tender and construction

• Research products and construction methods.

• Collaborate with other construction industry professionals.

• Provide assistance in procurement, tender analysis and contract award.

• Perform field reviews and prepare site reports.

SALARY RANGE:

 The compensation range is $70K to $80K, plus benefits, to be finalized based on experience.
