Giorgio Giovinazzo Architect is a small sole proprietor architectural firm; we provide architectural services that include a variety of small to mid-sized projects in Health Care, Educational / Institutional, Commercial and Residential Construction.
We are offering a part time, full time or contract position for an architectural technologist or junior architect.
The successful candidate should:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
Include but not limited to:
1. Office Work / General Work
-
Organize and maintain project files.
-
Assist with meetings.
-
OAA Research and follow up.
-
Ontario Building Code
-
Set up computers and maintain computer functions.
-
Software
-
AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Photoshop
-
Optional: Revit, Sketchup
2. RFP / Proposal Writing i.e. looking for work
3. Architectural Work

Conceptual Design: Field measurements and photo documentation, Photo document existing conditions, Preliminary research, review existing files.

Schematic Design / Design Development: Prepare schematic design drawings / AutoCAD / Revit, Preliminary Building Code Review, Model Making.

Contract Documents: Prepare contract documents / AutoCAD / Revit.

Tender: Participate in meeting, prepare documents.

Construction: Site Review and documentation, Field Reports.
Education and work experience requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Architecture with Portfolio from accredited institution Art Background with Portfolio Architectural work experience

Professional or technical memberships and affiliations: Optional.

Salary Commensurate with Experience ($45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per annum)
