We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

 Intermediate Technologist

ABBARCH’s Toronto office has an immediate need to fill the position of Intermediate Technologist for large retail developments.

 Qualifications include:

• 5 years of relevant experience

• Advanced knowledge of BIM Software (Revit) and AutoCAD, Utilize BIM software to create 3D models and coordinate with project teams.

• Strong understanding of provincial building codes nationwide. Ensure that all drawings and designs comply with building codes, regulations, and standards.

• Ability to work both in a team setting and independently

• Ability to prioritize and manage tight deadlines for multiple projects

• Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat

• Graphic skills and proficiency with Enscape, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an asset

Duties include:

• Liaising with clients and project stakeholders

• Working on multiple projects with internal team members and consultants from design development to construction completion

• Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details

• Preparation and issuance of all deliverables (Permit, Bid, Construction, etc.)

• Coordinating and conducting scope trips

• Mentoring junior staff members

Salary Range: 65 -75k
