ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

MMC International Architects have immediate employment opportunities for confident, experienced & self-motivated individuals for Job Captain and Project Manager positions. Prior experience specific to large scale commercial/retail projects and being well versed in NBC/OBC standards is essential.
 

ROLE OVERVIEW

• Commercial/retail relevant experience

• OAA Architect or Intern Architect or OACETT member registration an asset

• Able to work in our downtown Toronto off (PATH access)

• Self starter able to work both independently and with small team

• Capable, experienced & comfortable managing junior staff across multiple projects

• Ability to correspond effectively with clients, Project managers & Partners

• Familiarity with both NBC and OBC (some projects located outside of Ontario)

• Strong technical building sciences background including building envelope detailing

• Comfortable working under structured project timelines & deliverable schedules

• Experienced coordinating & managing Engineering Consultants

• Experienced & comfortable managing staff

• Good communications skills both written and oral

• Comfortable in participating in both in person and virtual meeting environments.

• Experienced working through all traditional project stages from Planning SPA/SPC to Permit & CD’s

• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, contractors and client representatives

• Proficient in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word & Outlook

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
