Mast Architects Inc., a small firm located in downtown Toronto, is seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist/Draftsperson to join our team. We specialize in Casino’s and gaming, hospitality, commercial and industrial design, with a strong focus on client service and technical proficiency.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an individual to work closely with our team of professionals, helping to ensure our designs develop into operational structures. The primary focus will be on creating detailed construction drawings, coordinating with consultants, and on-site documentation and field review. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person to gain outstanding experience working collaboratively with a great team. Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience with proficiency in Revit and MS Office
• Degree/Diploma in a recognized Architectural Technologist Program
• Ability to produce a complete set of construction drawings
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team setting
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with parts 3 and 9 of the Ontario Building Code is an asset
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Residence within commuting distance to downtown Toronto, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and fully coordinated technical architectural working drawings
• Collaborate on multiple projects with internal team members, consultants, and clients to achieve project objectives and timelines
• Apply for building permit, and coordinate with City staff
• Construction administration and on-site field reviews
• Be an active part of the design process, from schematic design to project completion

Salary range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 / Annually. Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
