Where is the job located?
We are seeking applicants who are currently living or are willing to relocate to North Bay, Sudbury, Timmins, or other communities in Northeastern Ontario.
The Role:
Mitchell Jensen Architects is seeking an experienced Architect to assume a central and highly-valued role within our office, guiding projects through all phases of the design and construction process. Primary duties will include:

Contribute and/or lead projects from concept to completion

Work with technical staff resources through the production of working drawings and specifications

Assist with the development of and/or manage the project delivery process, including scheduling, documentation, and communication

Work closely with clients through all phases of the project

Assist with subconsultant communication, scheduling, and coordination
-
Review compliance with authorities having jurisdiction

Participate and/or manage the tender process

Participate in construction administration
Qualifications include:

Degree in architecture from an accredited school of architecture;

License with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA);

Minimum 10 years experience (post-licensure)

Proficiency in Autodesk products, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to contribute to and/or manage multi-disciplinary consultant teams

Ability to contribute to and/or manage multiple projects of varying size and type
-
Excellent technical knowledge of building construction, detailing, and building codes

Excellent knowledge of OAA and CCDC contracts
What we Offer:

A base salary ranging from $80-$100k per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
