Revit Coordinator

Our Toronto office has opportunities available for a Revit Coordinator to work on various Ontario based projects. The successful candidates will work with project teams to produce high standard Revit construction drawings. 

 

BIM/Revit Coordination tasks:

  • Maintain healthy model environment as per Company standards
  • Prepare clean incoming and outgoing model exchange
  • Resolve BIM issues
  • Ongoing Revit family creation
  • Work with PM’s and Senior BIM Manager to enforce and ensure team members adhere to the BXP (BIM Execution Plan)
  • Set up folder and project access and permissions for the project
  • Review graphic standards
  • Work closely with PMs to help determine accurate timelines for assigned tasks of team members
  • Assist with modelling complicated portions of the project
  • Upgrading the Revit skills of team members to ensure team efficiency
  • Model origin, coordinate system, and units
  • Create file storage location(s)
  • Manage processes for transferring and accessing Model files
  • Create model(s) coordination reports
  • Collect incoming models
  • Coordinate submission and exchange of model
  • Narrative report of changes/modifications during model exchanges
  • Provide a general review that files are complete and usable in compliance with template protocols
  • Maintain BIM archives and back-ups. The Revit Coordinator shall produce a Model Archive at the end of each Project Phase and shall preserve the Model Archive as a record that may not be altered for any reason

 

Additional Architectural Tasks (if applicable to project):

  • Assemble construction drawing sets from schematic design through to construction administration in REVIT, including: site plans, floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall details, etc.
  • Work with current design techniques, building systems, and keep current with design trends, code changes, and developments to sustain and improve technical and design skills
  • Prepare client presentation materials, design development documentation, construction documentation, contract administration and Authority submissions on a wide variety of projects under guidance from senior architects

Salary Range $80,000 + (Commensurate with experience)
