PT.25 Design-Build: Using OAA 600-2021

Effective January 1, 2026, significant amendments to the Construction Act and its associated regulations came into force, affecting both contracts for professional services and construction. Work is underway to update the OAA Contracts Suite and guides to reflect these changes. Click here to learn more.

The current Practice Tip (PT) refers to the use of OAA 600-2021 in association with the 2013 versions of CCDC 14 and CCDC 15. The proposed supplementary conditions have not yet been updated to reflect the changes made in the 2026 versions of these contracts. Do not use unmodified if the newer versions of the CCDC contracts are being used.

Until an updated PT is issued, legal advice should be obtained before the content of this PT is used as the basis for amending new contracts.
