At NEUF, hand drawing is more than a visual exercise: it’s also a way to reflect on and connect with the built environment. The Urban Sketchers team meets weekly for a dedicated 30-minute session, regardless of the season or weather conditions outside. Led by the passionate sketchers and partner architects Ahn Le Quang and Bruno St-Jean, this initiative brings generations together to encourage a slower and more thoughtful way of experiencing architecture. With sketchbooks in hand, the team explores the city’s edges, details, and hidden corners, revealing the full potential of the urban spaces NEUF has helped shape over five decades.
