Description:
"Tuscan Perspectives" are sketch studies completed early in my career while living and studying architecture in Florence. They consist of observations of public spaces and major structures in the city of Florence (Tuscany) including the following: perspectival and plan studies of the Pazzi Chapel at Santa Croce and Ospedale degli Innocenti; and pencil and watercolor studies of building details (structures by Michelangelo and Brunelleschi). The Palazzo Vecchio is the town hall of Florence, and overlooks the Piazza della Signoria, which holds a copy of Michelangelo's David statue, and the gallery of statues in the adjacent Loggia dei Lanzi."
