Description
TEUI 1, the OAA's first generation (free and open-source) EUI calculator went online in 2021. Feedback from OAA members and users, engineers and stakeholders led to another 4yrs of development, adding features that architects need for more comprehensive review and planning at the earliest stages of design. TEUI 4 is the latest generation of the tool, representing the latest in OpenBuilding's research into building energy and carbon metrics in Canada.
Learning Objectives
- Understanding the core tool calculation logic
- Understanding the Energy Balance in Stacked Bar Graphs (Gains vs. Losses) and the Dynamic Sankey Graph modeller
- Understand the Reference Modelling scenarios
- Trying for yourself, create an early stage coordination model and report from only partial design data.
