MidMod Movies is back for its 14th season!

Join us in person once again for this popular annual documentary film series of unique, critically-acclaimed movies from around the world that feature Mid-Century and Modernist architecture and design. Presented in partnership with Forest City Modern.

On October 2nd, MidMod XIV will be showing Maurice and I, directed by Rick Harvie & Jane Mahoney. Having lost almost their entire life's work in the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, New Zealand architects Sir Miles Warren and Maurice Mahoney fight to save their finest building from demolition. A powerful story of partnership, loss, and the enduring importance of architecture in shaping and enriching our lives.
