This Doors Open weekend (May 24-25), be the architect, landscape architect or urban planner of your very own paper creation as part of Toronto Society of Architects’ Paper City, a special family program as part of Doors Open Toronto 2025.
When visiting City Hall, come on up to the Members’ Lounge where you and your kids can test your architectural skills and creativity by building a piece of our 2025 Paper City. The activity will include diverse printed templates for families to cut, colour, and fold together to create your own unique structures. From soaring skyscrapers to domed libraries–or perhaps a clever reinterpretation of your favourite Toronto landmark–the only limit is your imagination! And should you run into any difficulties, our TSA Volunteers will be on hand to help you craft your architectural masterpiece.
Once complete, add your building to our folded metropolis and watch Paper City grow!
Please note all visitors to City Hall must go through a security screening which includes a walk-through metal detector. We encourage you to pack lightly for a speedier experience.
