MidMod Movies is back for its 14th season!

Join us in person once again for this popular annual documentary film series of unique, critically-acclaimed movies from around the world that feature Mid-Century and Modernist architecture and design. Presented in partnership with Forest City Modern.

On September 25th, MidMod XIV will be showing The Mies van der Rohes: A Female Family Saga, directed by Sabine Gisiger. This film is an epic family saga set in the era of Modernism, told through the women surrounding Mies van der Rohe. His wife Ada, his daughters Georgia, Manna, and Traudel, and his lover Lilly Reich embrace the opportunities of the new era, but also suffer the constraints of old patterns.
