The Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) is seeking interested OAA members to volunteer as assessors for the
Broadly Experienced Foreign Architects (BEFA) Program. This competency-based program was developed by the Canadian architectural community to provide opportunities for foreign-licensed architects to pursue their profession in Canada.
BEFA assessors are asked to review two applications per year and participate in two assessment interviews per year, either remotely or in person if health guidelines allow. Each BEFA applicant file is reviewed by a panel of three assessors—a chair, a national representative, and a regional representative.

Expression of Interest form to
Tina Carfa. The OAA will forward interested candidates to the national committee responsible for selecting assessors.
