The Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence are now open for submissions, with a deadline of Friday, September 12, 2025.

Celebrating 57 years of recognizing design excellence, the awards honour future projects that are in the design stage, scheduled for construction, or under construction but not substantially complete by the deadline. All entries must be commissioned by a client with the intent to build.

This year’s program also features the Canadian Architect Photo Awards of Excellence and the Canadian Architect Student Photo Awards of Excellence, spotlighting outstanding images of Canadian buildings captured within the past two years.
