Council Election Results Are In

New Terms Begin January 1, 2022.

The OAA thanks all those who ran in this year’s Council elections. Congratulations to the returning and new Councillors elected or acclaimed to sit on the OAA Council, beginning January 1, 2022:

• Susan Speigel (City of Toronto);
• Marek C. Zawadzki (City of Toronto);
• Ted Wilson (Northern Ontario);
• Christina J. Karney (Province of Ontario); and
• Pearl Yan Ming Chan (non-voting Intern Architect seat).

Appointments for the Eastern and Western District Seats will be undertaken by Council at its December 10 meeting.

The OAA extends its appreciation to departing Councillors Barry Cline, Gordon Erskine, Jeff Laberge, Agata Mancini, Heather Breeze, and Kathleen Kurtin for their service to the Association.

The elections for officers and executive will take place at Council’s first meeting in the new year on January 20.
