BEVELANDER, Pedro Alexander

1948-2025

Pedro passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in the early hours of July 19, 2025, with his wife by his side.

Joyful, fun-loving, creative, curious, and kind, Pedro appreciated beauty in all its forms, particularly in nature. He served diverse communities and touched many lives through his work as an architect for over 40 years across Southern Ontario. Pedro loved to “sniff about,” exploring countryside and buildings near and far, especially the lakes of northern Ontario and the BC coast by boat. He was always warm and welcoming to everyone and loved a good chat.

Pedro will be greatly missed by his wife, Louisa Dupré, his son, Sebastian, and his daughter, Miebet. He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, Jan and Theodore, and his sisters, Sarina and Yvonne. He was predeceased by his sister Mieke. His memory will be cherished by his friends and extended family of brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews across Canada and abroad.

A celebration of life for Pedro will take place at a later date.
