Dutch architects MVRDV have unveiled their "
Carbon Confessions" exhibition at Architekturgalerie München, which runs in Munich, Germany until
February 27, 2025. This multifaceted showcase offers a comprehensive exploration of the firm’s sustainable design practices and its efforts in reducing carbon impact across the construction industry.
Spread across three floors, the exhibition highlights tools like CarbonScape, a newly developed software to measure and mitigate carbon in architectural projects, which MVRDV will soon launch for public use. Additional features include transformation projects, low-carbon materials, and digital tools, fostering dialogue on sustainable building methods.
The exhibition embodies sustainability itself, having produced merely 44 kilograms of CO2, achieved through recycled furnishings and a zero-waste approach. Acting as a springboard for conversations on low-carbon practices, "Carbon Confessions" invites professionals and the public to rethink the future of construction.
