Jeremy Bernard Woolf, M. Arch. AIBC, MRAIC, CP.

Born March 16, 1963, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Died June 7, 2026, in Vancouver, BC. It is with profound sadness that we announce that Jeremy has died following injuries sustained in a June 1, 2026, accident on the Coquihalla Highway. He was in the process of returning to Winnipeg, his city of birth, after 38 years in Vancouver, when he lost control of his motorcycle, succumbing to his injuries several days later.

The younger of two sons of the late Margaret (née Gibson) Woolf and the late Dr Cyril I. Woolf, Jeremy grew up in Winnipeg. He studied at the University of Manitoba, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and then a Master's in Architecture. His first building project was a new home for his parents in St. Vital, Winnipeg. Moving to Vancouver in 1988, Jeremy joined a local architecture firm where he worked until 2016, serving for several years as its Managing Partner. Subsequently, he worked in project management for the City of Vancouver. He had been looking forward to beginning a new senior role at a firm in Winnipeg and was travelling there at the time of his accident. 

Jeremy designed, built, and oversaw many construction projects in BC, across Canada and in the United States, which will remain his legacy. His true loves, however, were his many hobbies, including motorcycling and photography; an exhibit of his photographs on the theme of the Holocaust and Remembrance was exhibited in 2018 at Vancouver's Capture Festival.
