May 24–25 weekend. This year’s event, themed "The City is Your Playground; Get Ready to Play," offered the public the opportunity to explore Toronto’s architecture and cultural heritage across 150 sites.
At the OAA’s headquarters, visitors gained insight into the role of architecture in shaping sustainable and inclusive communities with special tours led by Architects
Sheena Sharp and
David Fujiwara. The event further highlighted the OAA’s commitment to climate action, as the Association showcased its
Renew + Refresh video series. This five-part series,
now available on YouTube, demonstrates how zero-net carbon targets can be achieved through innovative renovation projects. The series serves as a valuable resource for architects and the broader public interested in sustainable design.
