Province Unveils 2,700-home, Multi-tower Vision for Burlington’s Aldershot GO Station

The province is proposing a 2,715-home Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) south of Aldershot GO Station in Burlington.

An Infrastructure Ontario submission to the City of Burlington includes housing, retail and office space, a public park and open space on a vacant estimated 10-acre Masonry Court site.

A rendering on the province’s TOC web page shows a multi-tower community.

The property is located between the GO Station’s south parking lot and the Stationwest Townhomes.

Infrastructure Ontario spokesperson Ian McConachie said approximately 40 per cent of the proposed new residential units are expected to be two- and three-bedroom units.

McConachie did not provide a total number of potential buildings, or anticipated building heights.
