As part of its ongoing series, on September 28, the OAA is hosting a special free webinar for all those with OAA status. In “TEUI 2.0: An OAA Effort to Bring Clarity to Energy and Carbon Metrics,” architect Andy Thomson (Thomson Architecture) will explore the importance of Total Energy Use Intensity (TEUI) as a metric and share the Association’s new calculator. This would be an important session for anyone considering submitting for a Design Excellence Award later this year, as providing TEUI is a requirement.
Additionally, on October 5, senior architect Julie Savignac Duhaime, energy systems engineer Mitchell Niles, and senior architectural project manager Luc Jobin (J.L. Richards & Associates) join Mattagami First Nation executive director Juanita Luke to share lessons learned in “Designing a Net-zero Carbon School in Northern Ontario.”
Both of these sessions qualify for the mandatory Climate Action component of the Continuing Education (ConEd) program.
