As part of the mandatory 2022–2024 Continuing Education cycle, all Architects, Non-Practising Architects, and Licensed Technologists OAA must complete a minimum of two structured learning hours focused on Climate Action.
Established as a priority for the OAA in 2020, Climate Action is a lens through which the OAA examines its work of regulating the practice of architecture. Dedicated learning about this critical topic will help members become better practitioners, equipped for a changing world.
To fulfil the requirement by June 30, 2024, members must seek out their own learning opportunities related to this topic. They should be Structured Learning, and reported as such, under the sub-category “Climate,” in your OAA Transcript.
The OAA will be offering webinars under the Climate Action theme and also enhancing this section of the website, with news to come later this summer.
