David W. Hastings, Architect
November 25, 1948 - December 27, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of David, aged 75, at his home on December 27, 2023. He was the beloved husband to Christine (nee Corner); a loving father to Jessica Hastings (Leo De la Roca) and Emily Walker (Andrew Walker); and cherished grandfather to Ellis, Bennett, and Cora. David was an unwavering source of encouragement and support to his family, attending every concert and sporting event, and sharing his passion for music, drawing, and sailing - moments his family will treasure forever. 

In addition to his devotion to family, David was a respected architect and dedicated mentor who generously shared his expertise, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and innovation in the field. His sense of humour, warmth and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
